Folk Songs is a vast concert program that brings the musical roots from various cultures, regardless of boundaries to life. One of the great strengths of folk music is its ability of speaking to people’s hearts, through its genuineness and simplicity.

Our curated programme combines folk songs, artistic arrangements and ethno-musical inspired works from various regions of the world – be it Armenian, to Swedish, Spanish, Sicilian, Egyptian and African-American folk.

Going beyond the surface, we seek a deep immersion into musical identity, emotional truthfulness and the unifying power of common themes: home, loss, longing and cultural memory.

In times of social and cultural differentiation, we do not focus on what makes us different, but rather on the commonalities of a rich and vast global musical heritage.
